E+ Application Procedure:

Step 1: Foreign students must be official nominated as the Erasmus+ students and must comply with the new documents requirement (E+ Application Form, LA SMS E+, Accommodation Form, ect.)
Step 2: Once students are nominated and send an application, they will receive back the welcome letter from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with detailed Erasmus+ procedure in a next few days.
Step 3: Students should apply by sending color scan copy all documents (full with signature and color stamp) via e-mail, and then they will receive another information with more facts and instructions

Each applicant interested in the Erasmus+ exchange must be a student of a partner University/Higher School with which an Erasmus+ Agreement has been signed. We act as a liaison between your home institution and the Bronisław Markiewicz State Higher School of Technology and Economics in Jarosław (PL) throughout your stay on our campus.
The PWSTE International Relations Office operating personnel provides assistance for participants in exchange programs. We assist students and teachers with the application process, as well as offer advice on registration.

Under the Erasmus+ regulations, each applicant for an Erasmus+ scholarship must send us the Application Form

signed by applicants and representatives of your Institution. Students can apply for a room at our Hall of Residence Acommodation Form .

Erasmus Policy Statement (ERS)
The Bronislaw Markiewicz State Higher School of Technology and Economics in Jaroslaw
I. General strategy, objectives and priorities concerning Higher school activities within Erasmus Programme as well as other activities in the programme context (Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) in 2014-2020.
The State Higher School of Technology and Economics named after Bronislaw Markiewicz (PWSTE) in Jaroslaw is located in the south-eastern part of Poland and its task is: to enable young people, who come from small or medium-sized regions to study, to overcome barriers to study and to provide local labour market for the professionals to be employed in the economic sector, tourism, medical as well as in the construction one. The State Higher School of Technology and Economics in Jaroslaw creates conditions for the development of science and research work collaborating with universities and research institutions in the country and abroad, participates actively in the national and international cooperation and the students exchange. Signing the multiple contracts with the universities in Poland and abroad is the effect of mutual cooperation. The foreign policy of Higher School authorities is resulted in putting into practice the European and international values. The State Higher School of Technology and Economics is interested in constant enlarging the circle of foreign partners with whom it intends to pursue projects within the framework of educational and research programs. The increase in the students mobility and the teaching staff is considered an important factor of the development.

Erasmus Policy Statement (ERS)
The State Higher School of Technology and Economics tries to create a wide and attractive programme offer and to improve the educational standards in its teaching activities. Aiming to create an integrated European Higher Education Area and taking into consideration the provisions of the Bologna Declaration, the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) has been implemented in all the proposed faculties. Due to this system the State Higher School of Technology and Economics tries to promote national and European qualification structure to increase the mobility of the teaching staff and the students as well as to improve educational programs. To increase the attractiveness of the State Higher School of Technology and Economics for foreign students the efforts are applied to enrich the offer of subjects and programmes in English. The educational objective is to transfer the theoretical and practical knowledge to graduates, making them competent employees sought in the local market.
The State Higher School of Technology and Economics supports foreign language learning and the use of modern information and multimedia technologies. Preparatory courses are run and students pass examinations in English and German for TELC certificates. Being aware of the role of Higher Schools in knowledge transfer process the State Higher School of Technology and Economics in Jaroslaw is actively collaborating with institutions and enterprises in the region. The authorities of the above mentioned Higher School make every effort to ensure broad access to program participation in order to prevent discrimination and xenophobia and to encourage and support the disabled participants.

II. Quality of academic mobility activities:
The State Higher School of Technology and Economics in Jarosław has established the entity to ensure high quality in academic mobility issues. The Department of International Affairs was created in December, 2015. Higher School Coordinator for the Erasmus Programme was also appointed to be engaged in organizational and promotional activities of the Erasmus program, in the activities concerning the administration service of the incoming and outgoing, establishing contacts with other institutions, etc. The institute coordinators of Erasmus Programme were also appointed in order to support Higher School Coordinator and to help him in receiving the recognition and preparation of documents such as Learning Agreement. Persons from the teaching staff are also designated to give pieces of advice for students from abroad. Students have equal opportunitites, the principles for recruitment and allocation of resources are clear and the decision concerning the Erasmus scholarship award is taken by a special commission which is headed by a Vice-Rector.
Those, who are interested in the Erasmus Programme, have an easy access to information for the individual faculties. In order to activate students and the teaching staff, strong emphasis is placed on the Erasmus program promotion as well as on the activities informing about its possibilities and principles. If necessary, students may also benefit from individual counselling of institutes coordinators as well as from the counselling of Erasmus Higher School Coordinator. The State Higher School of Technology and Economics in Jaroslaw tries to do its best to provide all the incoming students with accommodation in its halls of residence as well as to provide them with Polish language course.

III. The quality of student placement activities:
The State Higher School of Technology and Economics will make every possible effort to organize student placement activities and will also cooperate with partner higher education institutions which are abroad to enable them to contact with Polish companies we collaborate with. The range of Higher School responsibilities and the company one will be defined during organizing the students placement activities and during the negotiations between the parties. Besides, the qualification criteria, salary, practice programme and accomodation conditions will be discussed and practice supervisors will be appointed for monitoring and making practice evaluation.
