Olesia Kravchuk is a student of nursing at the Bronislaw Markiewicz State University of Technology and Economics in Jaroslaw and she has been studying at the University of Rijeka in Croatia for the past summer semester of the academic year 2022/2023.

"Not so long ago my second Erasmus+ mobility ended. This time I went to Rijeka in Croatia.
In these 5 months I learned how to live in another country, met new people, and made friends with local students as well as with a few international ones.
As my lectures were held in Croatian I learned it a little bit, so it helped me in everyday communication. I even use some of the words in my daily life.
Of course, my English has gotten better, because of regular usage.
There were some challenging incidents, but so many more nice and enjoyable events.
I didn't travel too much, by cause of a full lecture and practice schedule, but I could care less. I still got to go to some magnificent places and even had a quick trip to Italy.
The last day was bittersweet, obviously, but I promised myself to go back to Rijeka one day!
I could write so much more about my experience, but I think it will be a ten-page essay at least. So I am ending it here.
Also big thank you to my coordinators Magdalena Bojarska and Marija Spevan! Without them, my mobility wouldn't be possible at all!"
