During the week of November 13-17, State University of Applied Sciences in Jaroslaw hosted staff from the Istanbul Esenyurt University in Türkiye: Caner Ilhan, Elif Arslan Dinç, Aybike Esra Şahin and Zuhal Şahin.
A delegation of four people took part in a training program prepared by the International Cooperation Department of PANS in Jaroslaw.
It is worth mentioning that Erasmus+ supports training periods for staff working in higher education institutions. With Erasmus+ programme, training opportunities are available to staff working in education, both in teaching and non-teaching capacities.
On the other hand, training periods abroad can consist of job shadowing, observation periods, professional development courses or specific competence-building events.
Staff mobility can be carried out by any type of higher education staff. To ensure high-quality mobility activities with maximum impact, the mobility activity has to be related to the staff’s professional development and to address their learning and personal development needs.

On October 20-26, 2023 PANS in Jaroslaw had the distinguished pleasure of welcoming a Romanian delegation from the Univerity of Oradea.
The delegation included Assoc. Prof. PhD Eng. Norbert-Szabolcs Suba, Prof. PhD Eng. Habil. Sorin Nistor and Assoc. Prof. PhD Amalia Sturza, International Relations Department Coordinator representing the Faculty of Construction, Cadastral Survey and Architecture of the Univerity of Oradea in Romania.
The delegation was welcomed by Magdalena Bojarska, MSc, the Head of International Cooperation Department and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator and Marek Banaś, PhD - Dean of the Faculty of Technical Engineering of the State University of Applied Sciences in Jaroslaw.
The Romanian colleagues showed interest in the different activities performed by PANS in Jaroslaw and expressed appreciation for the efforts and strategic outputs of our university.
The visit served as a next introduction to the team work of the Faculty of Technical Engineering and International Relations Office at PANS in Jaroslaw and presented an opportunity to highlight the specific projects of interest to Romania.

On October 16-27, 2023, we got a visit from a researcher representing a Turkish university called Istanbul Gelisim University.
Büşra HACIKÖYLÜ from Applied English Translation Department came to PANS in Jaroslaw within the Erasmus+ programme and Istanbul Gelisim University is a long-time partner of our University.
The guest was hosted by Magdalena Bojarska, the Head of International Cooperation Department and the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator at PANS in Jarosław.
The main aim and purpose of the activity was to transfer knowledge and good practices in order to learn from shared experiences.
Teaching and research staff can use the Erasmus+ programme to gain work experience abroad.
Because the Erasmus+ programme supports the professional development of staff working in higher education institutions, participants in the exchange programme acquire practical skills relevant to their current work.

On October 2-6, 2023 scientists from the University of Oradea in Romania visited PANS within the Erasmus+ Programme. The above institution is a longstanding partner of our university.
Emil Gligor and Dan Gombos from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Cadastre and Architecture were hosted by Magdalena Bojarska, MSc - the Head of International Cooperation Department and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator and Marek Banaś, PhD - Dean of the Faculty of Technical Engineering of the State University of Applied Sciences in Jaroslaw.
During a very creative training mobilities within the Erasmus+ Programme, many topics regarding current and future cooperation within the Erasmus+ Programme were discussed.
Overall objectives of the mobility consisted of participating in different practical activities to implement them in home institution.
The mobility within the Erasmus+ Programme of the staff shall result, among others, in increasing job satisfaction, improving social, linguistic and cultural competences, as well as strengthening cooperation with the partner institution. The mobility affects the personal and professional development, as the partcipants expand or establish new contacts, as well as use good practices learned abroad. Staff will strengthen language skills by acquiring qualifications specific to the higher education sector relevant to current job and professional development.
A few day ago I was visited by two Erasmus+ students who had studied at PWSTE in Jarosław in the winter semester of the academic year 2019/2020.
