Foreign students in PWSTE, Jarosław within the Erasmus+ Programme

In the academic year 2021/2022, the Bronisław Markiewicz State Univesity of Technology and Economics (PWSTE) in Jarosław hosted 45 students who represented partner universities from Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Slovakia.


A catalogue of subjects in English was prepared for foreign students studying at PWSTE. M.Sc. Magdalena Bojarska, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Spokesperson was responsible for the organization of their stay.


Young people from the universities of Spain, namely: the University of A. Coruña, University of Extremadura, University of Granada; the youth from such higher education institutions of Turkey as Samsun, Kastamonu and Munzur University, Sakarya University, Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, Kütahya Dumlupınar University and Istanbul Gelisim University, Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University; the youth from the University of Prešov in Prešov in Slovakia as well as from Polytechnic Institute of Bragança in Portugal studied and did internships with the support of the EU programme - ERASMUS+.


The students of PWSTE, Jarosław also go to study and do internships abroad within the EU programme – Erasmus+. They visit the following countries and universities: University of Aveiro in Portugal, Universidad de Murcia in Spain, as well as the University of Trento in Italy, Lithuania Business University of Applied Sciences in Lithuania, IESF - Instituto de Estudos Superiores de Fafe, Lda in Portugal, University of Rijeka in Croatia, Limassol College in Cyprus, West University of Timisoara in Romania, INSTITUTO POLITECNICO DO PORTO - School of Education of Porto and the University of the Azores in Portugal.


The participants of the programme are students of such fields of study as: Hotel Industry and Leisure Time Animation, English Philology, Pre-school and Early School Education, IT, Administration and Management (Master's Degree), as well as Nursing and Cosmetology fields of study - we are particularly proud of them - explains Magdalena Bojarska, who is responsible for the implementation of student mobilities. Currently, a large group of PWSTE students have gone on holiday internships to Portugal, Greece and the Netherlands, also as part of Erasmus+ programme.

Visit of scientists from Istanbul Esenyurt University at PWSTE!!!

On April 25-29, 2022, we have got a visit of 2 scientists within the Erasmus+ Programme from the Turkish partner institution named Istanbul Esenyurt University. Assist. Prof. Dr. S. Onur VIGA, Director of Institute of Graduate School and Benay BULUT were welcomed by Magdalena Bojarska, Head of International Cooperation Department and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator at PWSTE in Jaroslaw.

During a very productive stay, many topics related to the bilateral cooperation within the Erasmus+ Programme were discussed.

Foreign guests were delighted with the warm hospitality of the International Cooperation Department of PWSTE in Jaroslaw.

The mobility within the Erasmus+ Programme of the staff results, among others, in increasing job satisfaction, improving social, linguistic and cultural competences, as well as strengthening cooperation with the partner institution. The mobility affects their personal and professional development, as they expand or establish new contacts, as well as use good practices learned abroad. Staff strengthens their language skills by acquiring qualifications specific to the higher education sector relevant to their current job and professional development.

During the visit within the Erasmus+ Programme the Bronislaw Markiewicz State University of Technology and Economics in Jaroslaw welcomed guests from partner Slovak institution. Professor Jacek Dworzecki from the Public Administration and Crisis Management Department and Marian Suja, PhD, representing the Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava conducted lectures for Erasmus+ students studying at PWSTE in Jaroslaw and met with Magdalena Bojarska, Head of International Relations Office and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator of PWSTE.

Visit of Mehmet Kahraman, PhD from MEHMET AKIF ERSOY UNIVERSITY ! ! !

On April 25-27, 2022, we have got a visit of a scientist from the Turkish partner institution called MEHMET AKIF ERSOY UNIVERSITY. Mehmet Kahraman, PhD was hosted by Magdalena Bojarska, MSc - the Head of International Cooperation Department and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator at PWSTE in Jarosław.
During the multi-day meetings, the framework for the several-year-long and future cooperation was discussed.
The foreign guest admired modern equipment of our University and was delighted with cordial hospitality of the staff.

Árpád Szabó, PhD from Romanian Partium Christian University at PWSTE in Jarosław (14-18.03.2022)

Within the dates 14-18.03.2022 we hosted a scientist from the Romanian partner institution called Partium Christian University. Árpád Szabó, PhD was hosted by Magdalena Bojarska, the Head of International Cooperation Department at PWSTE in Jarosław.

We enriched the training mobility within the Erasmus+ Programme with a very exciting lecture for foreign students staying at our university under the Erasmus+ Program.

It was an amazing experience for all of us - thank you Árpád Szabó ! ! !

Helena Povse, PhD - as a special Erasmus+ guest from the Slovenian Ljubljana School of Business at PWSTE in Jarosław (28.02-04.03.2022)

Within the dates 28.02-04.03.2022 we have got a visit of a scientist from the Slovenian partner institution named Ljubljana School of Business. Helena Povse, PhD was hosted by MSc Magdalena Bojarska, the Head of International Cooperation Department at PWSTE in Jarosław.

Our guest received a diploma certifying her active conduct of classes with Erasmus+ students during a few days of her stay within the Erasmus+ Programme. Classes were focused on the following topics: advanced data analytics in marketing and culture differences as well as buying decision process.

During the several-day meetings, the framework for the several-year-long and future cooperation was discussed.

The foreign guest admired modern equipment of our University and was delighted with cordial hospitality of the staff.

In the winter semester of the academic year 2021/2022, the Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Technology and Economics in Jarosław hosts students representing partner universities of Spain, Portugal and Turkey.

A subject catalog in English has been prepared for foreign students staying at PWSTE.  M.Sc. Magdalena Bojarska, the Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Spokesperson of PWSTE, Jarosław is responsible for the organization of their stay.

Young people from the Universidad de A Coruña, as well as University of Extremadura, or from the Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University, Kastamonu and Munzur University, as well as from Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, Sakarya University and from the University of Granada and the Portuguese Polytechnic Institute of Bragança study within the European Union ERASMUS+ Programme.

Taking part in the Erasmus+ Programme, the students of PWSTE, Jarosław also go to study and have internships abroad,. The selected countries and universities include: University of the Azores and IESF - Instituto de Estudos Superiores de Fafe and Instituto Politecnico do Porto - School of Education of Porto in Portugal, as well as the University of Rijeka in Croatia and the West University of Timisoara in Romania.

Currently, a group of PWSTE students is going to study abroad during the second semester. The selected countries include: Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Croatia and Portugal.

The participants of the program are students of the following fields of study: Cosmetology, English Philology, Nursing and Management (Master’s Studies). We would like to remind you that the recruitment process for the international holiday internships within the Erasmus+ Programme is continuing - explains Magdalena Bojarska, who is responsible for the implementation of the international mobilities.
